After watching Bethany Allard perform in Happy Feet Dance School’s show, Andy Mawbey, International Singing Star, invited her to perform at his show, Swing from the Apple.  Mindful of the great honour, Bethany was extremely nervous but she gave a great performance in her first professional debut which was well received by the audience.  Andy has promised to invite her to perform again in a future show.   Well done, Bethany!

Sorrell Moyes, a pupil for over 10 years, is now studying dance, singing and acting at a prestigious vocational theatre school, showing so much talent at her initial audition that she was offered a full scholarship. Booking agents at the school’s shows have already spotted her as a future high flyer.  Her hours spent at the ballet barre are now reaping rewards!  Well done Sorrell!

Chloe Long, aged 9, successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet’s production of Coppelia at Norwich in July 2008.  It was the first time she had taken part in such a large audition—over 200 hopefuls took part— well done to her!  She had a fantastic time performing, even being given her own small solo,  and made new friends with the other members of the cast.  She is keen to repeat the experience in the future!

Chloe Long also entered  the Suffolk Festival of Dance, performing ballet and tap solos—the first time she had ever entered a Dance Competition.  She was placed second in both competitions, scoring 84% in tap and 87% in ballet.  The Adjudicator commented on her good technique and performance. Well done Chloe!
